Venom Welding Helmet

A friend wanted a custom painted welding helmet. He wanted a Venom face on the helmet. I sketched out the face and painted the base layer. I added a gel medium to the paint to add the tar like texture. I also added a small amount of white paint to a mixture of gel medium and high glossy medium to get the drool effect on the tongue and eyes. The helmet can last in high heat scenarios as well as handle being dropped and scratched. The helmet was a gift and many people comment on the quality of the design.
